About The Owners
For 56 years, our mother, Christel Gaida, took great pride in offering every one of her guests a “home away from home.” She believed that the beauty of Sylt should be accessible to everyone, at a reasonable price, and she was proud of having preserved a little “wild space” at the rear of the house, in which vacationers could relax and enjoy a piece of the natural landscape that existed when we were children growing up here. With the newly renovated apartments, we are striving to provide as much of the ambiance as holiday makers enjoyed during our mother’s time, and we welcome you warmly to “House Gaida.”
